Styling vs Design....which is best for you??
- already have updated staple furniture pieces but need help with room layout and accessories
- don't have time to shop or style your home
- love all the items we sell in the shop but are not sure what to do with it once you get them home.
In-home styling is so affordable because it requires very little prep time on our end. Unlike design, where we present room boards and work with the client to pick each furniture piece.
If you are looking for decorating help but would also like help selecting furniture pieces, we would recommend our design service.
Pricing
In-Home & Office Styling
$125 styling fee per room + product + travel (if you live further than 20 minutes away)
Send pictures of your home or office leaving only the accessories or decor pieces you love and want us to work back into the space to: simplymadehomedesign@gmail.com & we will get you scheduled as well as more details on what to expect and how to prep for your appointment.
Styling can be done to several rooms at one time or room by room, whatever fits your budget best.
Styling Accessory Budget: $1000 per room, $2000 for Living rooms with built-in's or rooms with multiple shelves to be styled.
*This is average pricing. Actually amount may be more or less.
Design Services
The average price range for the design & styling portion of this service is $1000-$2000/room.
A realistic average budget for furniture & accessories is $10k per room. Smaller rooms/areas needing less furniture will cost less while larger rooms requiring more furniture/accessories could cost more.
We do outsource and have clients pay for furniture delivery, assembly & hanging of heavy wall decor, rods & curtains.
Most of our furniture sourcing is through Four Hands due to the quality, variety of furniture pieces and quick shipping on in stock items. If you would really love to work with us but would prefer more budget friendly sourcing, please reach out. We would love to see what we can do for you.

Design in-home or zoom consults (if you haven't yet moved to the area) are $75 per hour.
A formal bid will be presented after the initial consult. Bids will take the following into consideration:
- Size of the Room(s)
- Scope of Design work
- Estimated time on our behalf to design, source furniture & select room finishes.

Logistics:
- Who is purchasing furniture
- Will furniture be shipped directly to you or will we be receiving, storing, unboxing, prepping and taking care of package disposal.
- monthly storage fee if applicable
- Time required to find, purchase & prep all of the accessories needed for install day.
- Labor required on Install Day(s) depending upon the size of the project. If multiple trips/install days are needed and the amount of travel required.
50% balance due with signed contract. Remaining balance due prior to 1st install.
